The pariish of Langrish comprises the villages of Langrish and Ramsdean.

The Squeaker is the magazine of the Villages of Langrish and Ramsdean, Hampshire, England
The Squeaker is the village magazine of the Parish of Langrish in Hampshire. Appearing quarterly, as a booklet of some 30-40 pages, it contains news, views and pictures of all matters of concern to the two villages.
It is distributed free of charge to all households in the two villages, and posted to anyone outside who has a personal interest in our doings. We are supported by voluntary donations and a small income from advertisements. Publishing is done at home by the Editor. Printing is carried out by the local engineering firm of Sermo T-P, as its contribution to the community life of the village.
The Squeaker was founded 22 years ago by the late Evelyn Hickox, who had been a visitor to the villages all her life, and finally settled here with her husband Phil. She wrote a detailed and fascinating account of the locality -"Aspects of Langrish Life", and much of our knowledge of our environment stems from this work.
Her concept, and the continuing aim of the Squeaker committee, is to bind and enhance the communal and social life of the villages, which lie in a single parish - Langrish, with its Church of St.John the Evangelist, built in 1872 by George Waddington, whose descendants, the Talbot-Ponsonby family, still live in Langrish House, which they run as a country house hotel.
